Chris Simpson is a professional squash player from Guernsey, currently based in Harrogate, North Yorkshire.
After an illustrious junior career becoming British and European Junior Champion, Chris turned professional in 2005 at just 17 years of age.
In 2008 Chris upset the seedings to win his maiden tour title, the Taiwan Open, his first tournament back after a serious ankle surgery. He has since added seven more titles to his name.
In 2014, after a string of good results, including the scalp of world no 5 Karim Darwish, Chris achieved his best PSA World Tour ranking of no.20.
In 2015 Chris had the biggest win of his career in El Gouna, Egypt, beating his idol and four time World Champion, Amr Shabana. This form earned him his first senior England cap at the European Team Championships in Herning, Denmark.
Chris made the last four of the Vedanta Indian Squash Open and the London Open in 2018. He also made the last 16 of both the DPD Open and the Wimbledon Club Squash Squared Open, before reaching the semi finals of the 5R Montpellier Metropole Open in his final event of the 2018-2019 campaign.
We are delighted to welcome Chris to the Healthspan Elite team and look forward to supporting his nutrition to help him achieve his goal of a top 10 world ranking.
