Registered nutritionist and sports nutrition specialist

Tracy is a registered nutritionist specialising in Sports Nutrition. Her strong academic history (degrees in Human Nutrition, Physiology and Sports and Exercise Science, Graduate Diploma in Sports Nutrition; International Olympic Committee) is combined with a passion for meeting and empowering individuals and professionals wherever they are in their nutritional journey and respecting their personal, cultural and professional ambitions.

Key achievements

Tracy has worked with individual athletes (swimming, track athletes, weightlifting and bodybuilding), but specialises in high-performance team sports including rugby, netball, hockey and cricket. She has remained accredited with High Performance Sports NZ, New Zealand's highest-performance sports provider, for over 13 years.

Tracy led the nationwide nutrition team for New Zealand Netball for 11 years (culminating in the 2022 Commonwealth games), leading and developing a team of professional nutrition providers. The team has celebrated multiple major event performances, including World Cup and Commonwealth Gold and Silver success.

Professional and development

Rugby has formed a large part of Tracy's career for 15 years, including her role as the lead nutrition provider for the National Sevens program (Olympic Silver Medallists and World Cup winners), Super 15 Rugby lead provider (Northern region) and a multitude of teams and individuals.

Each experience and successful campaign, both individual and team, has been critical in the developmental and continued success of the most successful men's and women's rugby nation in the world – New Zealand.

World Rugby Events require detailed planning and expertise. In her role as tournament nutritionist, Tracy has contributed to success in the Women's Rugby World Cup (2022), Men's & Women's Seven's Tournaments since 2020, and is in the planning phase for future international events.
